The infant environment is filled with soft toys and interesting items to hold, shake and analyze. Each child is on their own schedule. The caregivers will work at each child’s own pace developing language, physical, self-help and cognitive skills. Because all of our lead teachers hold degrees in education or the equivalency, they will observe your child as they play and assess which activities will best help your child learn and grow.
Learning sign language, reading books, singing songs, stacking blocks, and taking walks are just a few of the activities your child will enjoy with our staff!
Toddler and Twos
The toddler and two year old rooms hold toys that challenge your child’s mind and channel their energy into positive activities. The teachers will work with your child on self-help skills (cleaning up their toys, putting on their jackets, etc…) social skills ( respecting the teachers and learning how to be a good friend etc…) and cognitive skills (color, shape, number recognition etc..).
They will help your child with their verbal and language skills while still utilizing sign language to enhance communication. These classrooms lay the foundation for your child’s pre-kindergarten skills.
Because all of our lead teachers hold degrees in early childhood education or its equivalency, they will observe your child as they play and assess which activities will best help your child learn and grow. A nice balance of teacher/child directed activities and indoor/outdoor play will fill your child’s day with fun, learning and friendships!
