Because we pay our staff for days the center is closed during normal business hours, you are required to pay for days your child is normally scheduled even if the center is closed (this could be a holiday, emergency snow closing, or teachers prep day, etc…) Credit “coupons” can be used for these days in lieu of payment.
We are closed the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. We close at 3:00 pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. If the holiday falls on the weekend, we will be closed the closest business day before or after.
We close for one teacher prep day per year in between the end of the Summer session and beginning of the Fall Session.
We close if the Glendale River Hills School District closes due to a snow emergency.
We do request all families participate in automatic tuition withdrawal. Your payment can be withdrawn from your credit card or checking account. Please return the appropriate form to the office. The auto-withdrawal form can be found in your enrollment packet.
Withdrawals will be made on the Monday morning prior to care. Please make sure funds are available by 8:00am each Monday. If you wish to pay for more than one week at a time, please let the office know.
Parents who receive government subsidies (W-2 assistance) will have their co-payments automatically withdrawn weekly.
Glendale Heights understands a child can be out occasionally due to illness, vacations, etc…therefore, we allow 2 weeks of “credits” per year for which you do not need to pay. A week is equal to the amount of days your child is normally scheduled to attend in a one week period. Please submit a credit coupon in lieu of payment indicating the day(s) you would like to use the credit. Coupons can be found in the office.
